Chef Sarah Meconse Mierau (Sayisi Dene First Nation) is the founder of Tradish: The Ancestor Café in Fort Langley. Her work is rooted in Indigenous foodways, plant medicine, and the sharing of knowledge through lived experience and community connection.

Experience Overview

Held at Tradish: The Ancestor Café in historic Fort Langley, ROOTED is a small-group cultural gathering guided by Chef Sarah Meconse Mierau.

Through tea blending, shared food, and conversation, guests are guided through plant knowledge and cultural teachings shared through lived experience.

The gathering is intentionally paced, creating space for connection, reflection, and care around the table.
