Lise is the founder of Chew On This and the creative force behind each experience.

She designs the overall arc, builds relationships with local partners, and shapes how each experience unfolds, from the first welcome to the final table.

Our hosts carry that experience forward in each community, welcoming guests into the places and relationships that define it.

Debbie brings a warm, welcoming presence to each Fort Langley experience, shaped by a lifelong love of travel, food, and connection.

With roots in Australia and a deep appreciation for the Fraser Valley, she blends global perspective with local familiarity. Her time spent exploring different cultures and cuisines naturally carries into the way she hosts, creating an atmosphere that feels relaxed, engaging, and easy to settle into.

Guests often find themselves lingering a little longer, drawn in by Debbie’s genuine hospitality and the conversations that unfold along the way.

Meet Rosemary

Host, Fort Langley

Rosemary brings a deep connection to Fort Langley, shaped by more than 25 years of involvement in the local community.

With a creative spirit and a love of storytelling, she naturally weaves together the village’s history, people, and places. Her background as a singer-songwriter and photographer adds another layer of perspective, creating experiences that feel thoughtful, personal, and grounded in place.

Hosting with Rosemary feels less like being shown around and more like being welcomed into the rhythm of the village itself.

Host, Vancouver

Chef Vikram Vij is one of Canada’s most celebrated chefs and the culinary force behind Vij’s Restaurant in Vancouver.

With roots in India and training in Austria, his approach to cooking is grounded in bold flavour, generous hospitality, and a deep respect for tradition and innovation.

In this hosted experience, guests are welcomed into Vikram’s world, where food becomes a way to share stories, culture, and connection around the table.
